Bachelor of Music in Education: String Major with Teacher Certification
The Bachelor of Music in String Education is an extensive program which includes core training with courses in music education, and, hands on experience in string techniques. Weekly applied lessons, chamber music and orchestral work, further develop performance skills. The final year includes a recital and a semester of teacher training. Students who graduate from this program are qualified for State Licensure for Kindergarten through grade 12. The “Five Year Masters”, allow undergraduate students to prolong their studies by one year to graduate with a Masters degree.
