Master of Music in Performance

The Master of Music in Performance is designed to prepare serious string players for professional performing careers. Emphasis is placed on applied studio instruction, chamber music coaching and performance with both the CSU University Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. A final recital project and a core of music courses, round out the program. Opportunities to participate in the CSU “Graduate String Quartet” program offers outstanding candidates the chance to hold principal positions in the CSU orchestras and to hold positions in the Fort Collins Symphony ( Based on audition).
