Bachelor of Music in Performance: String Pedagogy Option
The Bachelor of Music in Performance with String pedagogy option is designed to prepare the musicians for the combined careers of music performance and private studio teaching. In addition to the requirements of the performance major as described above, a sequence of courses in string pedagogy instructs the student in the ‘art of teaching’ at all levels, beginners through advanced. The “Five Year Masters”, allow undergraduate students to prolong their studies by one year to graduate with a Masters degree.
