    Charles Lawson, clarinet, is Associate Professor and Coordinator of Woodwinds at Colorado State University. He earned his B.M.E. at the University of Kansas, and his M.A. degree and D.M.A. in clarinet performance and pedagogy at the University of Iowa. Before coming to Colorado State in 1981, Dr. Lawson taught at Viterbo College, Drake University, Midwestern Music and Art Camp, and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. He has performed as clinician and soloist with many ensembles throughout the United States. His current duties include woodwind coordinator and teaching applied clarinet, and saxophone; music theory; woodwind techniques.
