Admission and Application Procedures

Applicants seeking admission to the Master of Music program should follow the instructions outlined on the online application available at: http://graduateschool.colostate.edu/. In addition to the general admission requirements set by the Graduate School, applicants must fulfill the following departmental requirements: Applicants electing the performance or conducting options must audition in person for area faculty. Applicants electing music education, music education with Kodaly emphasis or music therapy may audition in person or submit a CD or DVD (see Audition Form [PDF] and Suggested Repertoire [PDF]). In addition, all applicants must send:

Two official transcripts of ALL college or university work
Three letters of recommendation
A statement of professional goals
Financial aid application (link)
